Nano technology revolution in Agriculture sector

As we all know that conventional fertilisers like urea, dap, mop and other agro chemicals tend to be very inefficient, resulting in potentially toxic substances being released into the environment in large amounts. Those toxins finally getting into our plates.

Problems we are facing with conventional fertilisers are given below

Soil applied N, P, K Fertilisers are getting wasted by 40–70 %, 80–90 % and 50–90%, respectively and causing a considerable wastage of resources.

  • Wastage is not only a wastage of money spent on purchasing fertilisers. Wastage is also the investment and human effort that spent on manufacturing fertilisers. Because latter usage, they finally end up being wasted. These inefficient fertiliser Wastage is toxic thing to environment. These inefficient fertiliser Wastage are Unimaginable threats to ecosystems.

  • These wastage of fertilisers are entering into the atmosphere, water bodies and polluting our ecosystems.

  • Current Nitrogen fertilisers are facing the problem of low nitrogen utilization efficiency ( Less than 20% ).

  • These lost nutrients are finally becoming insoluble and getting “fixed” in soil as salt lumps, where it forms chemical bonds with other nutrients and altogether becomes unavailable for uptake by the plants. And also damaging the soil structure.

This heavy, uncontrollable fertiliser usages and wastages will fall down by 50 - 70 % by adopting nano technology fertilisers.

To challenge this issue, MUTATE COMPANY launched a product “NANOS” which is a result of advanced nano technology. It consists of all the nutrients required by plant. By spraying nanos every 2 weeks, we can easily reduce minimum of 50 percent fertilisers.

Key principle in nano agriculture nutrients is very simple :

because nanomaterials are so small, they can release the desired substance locally, thus reducing waste in huge amounts.

Size difference between Bulk material vs nano material

Average particle size of DAP (Nitrogen & Phosphorus) is 3 - 4 MM. Nitrogen and phosphorus Nano particles present in our mutate company product “NANOS” are sized between 50 NM.

1 MM = 10,00,000 NM.

Which means NANOS product w.r.t (N and P) particle size is 1/60000 Th. Of DAP. Not only N,P, by taking an average of all the nutrients present in nanos, average particle size is 1/100000 Th. of conventional fertilisers.

So as particle size decreases, surface area increases.

Surface area of nanos is 1 lakh times more than the conventional fertilisers. Which is unimaginable.

Here are some characteristics of NANOS

  • Ultra small size.

  • Unimaginable surface area.

  • 100 Times more functionality.

  • Centupled fertiliser use efficiency (FUE).

  • Targeted smart delivery.

  • Zeroed wastage.

  • Less weight to carry - less transportation

  • Less labour for application.

Shocking fact is that plant interior functional parts are actually nano sized.

Its a win - win nano game at nano level with nano materials.

Note :

There is a difference between incidental nano particles and well engineered nano particles as required size and ppm.

Milk also contains calcium nano particles. All the micronutrient fertilisers in the market are also containing nano particles pf zinc, iron, calcium etc. but they are incidental and unevenly sized. Even cow dung particles are also containing nano particles. But due their incidental property. Their efficiency and functionality fails 99.9999999999 %.

There are also some fake sellers in the market who are providing bulk materials like EDTA chelated minerals and micronutrients in the name of nano products. Beware of them.

there are some home level experiments to test weather the given material contains nano materials or not.

will update them in our website soon.

We can call NANOS as Allrounder.

NANOS is a Fungicide, pesticide, Macro and micro nutrient fertiliser etc

These are the few uses

  1. Easy penetration deep inside leaves which leads to higher nutrient use efficiency (NUE).

  2. higher transport and delivery of nutrients through plasmodesmata is possible only with NANOS.

  3. Plant roots have been reported to be significantly porous to NANOS compared to conventional fertilisers.

  4. NANOS had reported only nano losses which lead to lower risk of environmental pollution.

  5. Reduces the days to seed germination and promotes root development.

  6. Utilises various ion channels which lead to higher nutrient uptake by crops.

  7. increases chlorophyll content of leaves.

  8. NANOS applied in conjunction with reduced doses of mineral fertilizers were found to be instrumental in boosting various crops yields.

  9. Extreme stress management.

  10. Eco friendly.

  11. Reduces cost of cultivation.

  12. Reduces Fertiliser, Pesticide and Fungicides Dosages.
